So by the time December rolls around, I am officially going to be so big that I make people feel uncomfortable when they are around me. I have about 2.5 months left and people are already asking me when that baby is going to get here already. Um…New Years. It's not even Halloween yet. There are a lot of other pregnant girls at my work who are due around the same time as me and when I stand next to them, I look like I ate their babies and went for ice cream after. One of them is having twins. That can't be good. I am loving how big I am, but a little worried about fitting through doorways, in cars and whatnot by the end of the year.

Keep in mind, I am only SIX MONTHS! |
I understand the fear - I, too, was totally giganto, and got sooo, soooooo very tired of people asking if I was having twins. (She ended up being 10 lbs - not cool, Baby.) You, however, look adorable! I gained 40 lbs and I believe 90% of it was in my a$$. My mom said whenever I got in my car I looked like I was trying to carry a canoe through the kitchen door.
ReplyDeleteHa, Robyn. For some reasons, my computer camera makes me look much thinner than I am. Don't worry, it is only an illusion. If I stay under 40, it will be a miracle.
ReplyDeleteEh, don't worry. It's Second Kid Syndrome. You're body's like, "Oh, you're putting me through this again? I'll show you..." and pops out to 1st-kid-at-8-months size by the time you're 5-6 months. Next time someone has the balls to ask why the baby isn't here yet, tell them you're still waiting for the right signs...then go into detail about mucous plugs. They shouldn't bother you again. But Robyn's right, you still look fantastic and anyone who suggests otherwise should be punched in the face.
